Services

 

 

Professional Development

We provide FREE in-depth workshops on specific areas of AT that are designed for newcomers as well as experienced professionals looking to expand their perspective of AT.  Workshops can be customized to meet the needs of individual school districts, universities, and agencies and can be conducted at your location.

 

 

AT Assessment Assistance

We  provide FREE assistance and training in conducting AT assessments to local LEAs.  We collaborate with the staff to identify the needs of the student and help develop an action plan.

 

 

Consultations

We provide FREE consultative services to address AT issues on individual students or address general classroom AT needs.

 

 

Technical Assistance

We provide FREE technical assistance to local districts to address difficulties with AT devices, hardware, and software. 

 

 

Short-Term Equipment Loans

We provide a FREE short-term loan program to assist school systems in conducting AT assessments and/or recommending assistive technology for students. Lending period is limited to four weeks. This program is not designed to provide long-term loans. Computers are not available through the loan program. Assistive technology hardware/software is provided only to students with disabilities at the request of the local AT staff.
