AIM District Process Webinar Recording
AIM Webinar
This webinar training is designed for District Competent Authority
designees, AIM District Contacts, or Coordinators assigned to oversee AIM
procedures in the district. This session serves as an example to show how a
district can set up their process for AIM ordering, eligibility, and
delivery of AIM. The presenter is the Jefferson Parish AIM Competent
Authority for that district. She addresses the tasks of the Competent
Authority, responsibility of the IEP teams and procedures for requesting and
reporting AIM. She also describes the use of the forms that she developed
for use in Jefferson. The Jefferson model is not a state mandated model, but
serves to provide a district prospective and reference. Each district/LEA is
responsible for determining the process best for the size and population of
students they serve.
Handouts and forms can be found on the LA AIM website at
